Liz and I have decided that given our current health status (both of us constantly ill or injured) it would be in our best interest to move. Into a nursing home, that is. The past year has been really rough health-wise. Between the two of us, we’ve suffered through a hospitalization, multiple sinus infections, a badly sprained ankle, a stress fracture, os trigonum syndrome, the flu, a stomach flu, acid reflux, vertigo, the recent s’murge, and incredible allergies. Not to mention that our weekly medicine case rivals that of your typical 95 year-old.
We figure that at a nursing home we’ll have someone to tend to our health concerns, a personal chef, and planned social activities. Bingo, anyone? Given our youthful spirits, we’d definitely be the most popular residents. And you guys can still come to Chicago to visit us. Just as long as it’s before 8 o’clock.
Geez, it would be kinda hot to visit u guys in a nursing home. I love Bingo….remind me to pack my green dobber.
