loganandliz.com: the mishaps of the mr. and mrs.

Hours into a weekend of going “dirts.”

Since I put this out on the table Saturday night when we met up with Jacqui, Clint, Paul, Dan, Lee and Jake at Iberico, I felt like I could extend it to our readership. I have a small confession. I like going “dirts.”

“Dirts” is a phrase that Liz and I coined to describe when you skip a day of showering, don’t even change out of your pajamas–or even worse, a combination of the above. Going “dirts” for me is refreshing. It’s a welcome change from the daily grind of early rising, showering, shaving and styling. A little “dirts” never hurt anyone.

Sometimes, if a glorious weekend with no plans presents itself, I’ll go “dirts” until Monday morning. And if there’s anything that feels better than going “dirts” it’s the feeling of rebirth that follows the Monday morning blast of hygiene.
