loganandliz.com: the mishaps of the mr. and mrs.

After a great trip to Kokomo and weekend visit from Liz’s family (we got the Internet connection hooked up, thanks Big Jim!) I wasn’t feeling so great on Sunday. I thought I was just exhausted from a busy week. I barely left the couch and/or bed all day Sunday. On Monday, I went back to work, but felt lightheaded, unbalanced, and exhausted. I called and made a doctor’s appointment for Tuesday. Monday night, it just kept getting worse and worse. I almost fell just walking from the couch to the bathroom. I tried working from home Tuesday, but couldn’t really even sit up for very long without an onset of nausea. The doctor says that I have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). He gave me some medicine for motion sickness that pretty much knocks me out, and I have to do these fantastic head exercises three times a day. Speaking of, it’s time for another dose.

oh shit, that sounds really crappy!
sorry :/

mmm, daveeed… could you please read aloud for the class now…

I had a severe attack of vertigo last December and I still feel some side effects. I feel your pain, as I could not walk, even to the bathroom. It was the worst medical thing that has ever happened to me. I hope you are feeling better. It took me 2 months before I felt close to normal.

Something to say?
