loganandliz.com: the mishaps of the mr. and mrs.

I’ve often wondered why the miniature candy bars are referred to as “fun” size. My mentality is that the serving size is less candy, which doesn’t exactly equal fun. This very topic came up in our little project manager’s pod of cubicles just last week. There were a variety of theories for what made the candy fun. Jody would have been proud; I argued that it was the ratio of chocolate to other ingredients that resulted in a more fun taste. A couple of people concurred, but my theory didn’t align with the overall verdict.

The reason these candy bars are fun size is simply because you get to eat more than one without guilt.
