So, I thought I posted this last Wednesday, but apparently I saved it instead of publishing it. My bad. Anyway, here it is…

This past week, we’ve been missing Cincinnati pretty bad. It’s always harder when you’re driving back and forth all the time - like a constant reminder of what you’re missing back home. There are some days that we feel as though we could live here forever, and others when the moving van can’t come soon enough. I guess you’ll have that.
Luckily, last night, we had a little taste of home, and a definite pick-me-up. My Uncle Steve (Mom’s brother) and Aunt Denise invited us to go out to dinner, as Uncle Steve had an expo in Rosemont, and they were in town for a few days. We decided on the Cheesecake Factory in Schaumburg, because it was close to their hotel, and not a bad drive for us. We had the greatest time - joking, laughing, sharing stories - it was just what we needed for a little pick me up. I was also excited for Logan to get to spend some one on one time with them, as he’s never really had a great opportunity before now. Needless to say, he’s quite a fan.
So guys, here’s your internet shout-out. Thanks for a most wonderful evening. We love you!
