loganandliz.com: the mishaps of the mr. and mrs.

There’s a new king in town, and it’s the White Palace Grill. This tiny little treasure is tucked away at the intersections of Canal and Roosevelt, just southwest of downtown. Liz and I stumbled across White Palace after heading over to Home Depot tonight to appease our case of kleptomania with some color swatches from the paint department. Parking wasn’t easy to come by, but our persistence paid off by way of a mouth-watering Patty Melt sandwich. The decor was a bit nostalgiac (the joint’s been around since 1939), a bit nappy, the servers had spunk, and the food was well worth every penny, though it didn’t set us back more than a few bucks. And for all of the late-night crowd (read: Jacqui and Clint), White Palace is open 24 hours, so why settle for stale Slyders when you can enjoy this midnight majesty?
